Nation’s Football Classic

For the inaugural Nation’s Football Classic, an annual football game sponsored by AT&T and Events DC featuring two prominent historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), I was tasked with creating the event’s first official website. From two initial Photoshop mockups, I led both the front-end and back-end development using Drupal.

A standout feature of the website was the background video components, which added a dynamic and engaging element to the user experience. These videos helped capture the excitement and spirit of the event, immersing visitors in the atmosphere of the game.

Another crucial aspect was the detailed scheduling and ticketing component. This feature allowed users to easily access game schedules, purchase tickets, and obtain essential event information, making the website a central hub for attendees and fans.

I also integrated a media gallery into the website, showcasing a wide range of images capturing moments before, during, and after the event. This gallery not only served as a visual archive of each game but also as a promotional tool for future events.

The final website delivered a vibrant and user-friendly experience, successfully reflecting the energy of the Nation’s Football Classic and serving as a key resource for fans, participants, and sponsors alike.
